THE NATIONAL OFFICE
o perpetuate the Fellowship's purpose, the National Office encourages affiliate chapters to conduct and support community service and civic programs aimed at youth mentoring, education tutoring, scholarship drives and activities that help to suppress homelessness, drug abuse and alcoholism.

To better serve our communities, the Men of Groove Phi Groove have pledged to support endeavors that project positive images of Black-American men, and which accomplish the goal of moving us forward. This is an increasingly important challenge as too many would be content only to focus on the negative elements, and to see us lose those achievements which bare the anguish, blood and lives of the many Black-Americans who were essential in building this nation. Despite these disruptive factors, the Men of Groove Phi Groove have accepted the challenge and recognize that our future successes will be significantly influenced by our ability to serve as positive role models who must instill positive moral values in our own children, and within those young Black-American boys and men who may not have the benefit of a positive male influence in their lives.

The Men of Groove Phi Groove will continually strive to set the right example by doing our best, pulling our own weight, and keeping our families, communities and the Fellowship first and foremost in our hearts and minds. Through these convictions, the Fellowship's contributions to society shall never end.

The strength of our brotherhood can only be measured by the ties that bind us.

Programs

The Men of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc. actively support and participate in a number of programs and projects which are aimed at serving the communities in which we live. Some of these programs and projects target Black-Americans, however, the Fellowship does not discriminate against others based upon race, color, sex, national origin, or physical impairment. These programs and projects do not provide a financial benefit to individual members of the Fellowship, as Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc. is a 501(c)(7) not-for-profit entity, and The Groove Fund is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable entity.

The Fellowship's National Programs & Projects Manual includes the following:

* The Groove Fund, Incorporated Scholarship Awards Program
* The Groove Fund, Incorporated Tutorial Program
* The Groove Phi Groove Mentorship Program
* Project Outreach
* Project Missing Children
* Project UNCF
* Project NAACP/Urban League

Although the aforementioned programs and projects are specifically captured within the National Programs & Projects Manual, chapters are encouraged to conduct and support other types of activities that foster the Fellowship's beliefs and mission related to community and civic service.
